margiplayer: DVD player and Margi Card |

Margiplayer is a simple linux application that controls the playback of a DVD on a TV (no on screen display) through the Margi Decoder Card.
Here is what you need to install and get working before using margiplayer:
- linux PCMCIA Card Services from pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net
- linux Margi drivers from linuxtv.org (CVS)
- libdvdread from linuxvideo.org (CVS use libdvdread as module_name)
- margiplayer-0.x: simple DVD player that I've written to control the playback. Note that margiplayer won't work unless all the above are installed and working properly.
INSTALL
After installing pcmcia-cs and the latest Margi Linux driver, the Margi card should be recognized when inserted:

Install the latest version of libdvdread.
Install margiplayer:
- tar zxvf margiplayer-0.x.tar.gz
- cd margiplayer
- make
Insert a DVD, mount it to /mnt/cdrom and run margiplayer.. good luck..

- latest libdvdread from CVS
